We all overthink.
And we overthink all the time about something.
So why not try to understand your overthinking? Identify your overthinking thoughts to find out if there are any benefits to your overthinking.
Consider this. If we use half of an eight hour day, four hours to simply remind ourselves to think positive thoughts and to be positive in our actions we will increase our potential for positive thinking each day by 50%!
It is the thinking of our thoughts that makes us who we are. And you are what you think you are.
The good news is, "We can change our thoughts.” This means we can change who we think we are!
A huge problem with overthinking is that we are always thinking of our future (tomorrow), while applying ourselves to todays’ issues. And in our subconscious mind we are constantly referring in memory to our past (yesterday). But it is only in the here and now today, the present, where any positive change in our thinking has any chance of occurring. Can you see the patterns that create your overthinking? And this overthinking repeats itself everyday.
Take the time to understand your overthinking.
We live only one day at a time, in the here and now. Do what you can today to make a better tomorrow.
Control your overthinking.
